Fiber Polarization Scrambler

The Phoenix fiber polarization scrambler is part of the FireBirdTM instrumentation range and provides for polarization state scanning in a compact modular format. The simple unit is factory set for scan or random polarization mode, and requires only a bias voltage for operation. Based on the popular Phoenix Photonics all-fiber polarization controller/scanner, this module is a three waveplate all-fiber device with in-line compensation to minimize PMD.
